We accept assignments as defence counsel in criminal cases concerning breaches of provisions in special legislation, including aviation legislation.

In 2025, we defended a helicopter pilot who landed on his own roof in a residential area. He was acquitted in the district court: https://lovdata.no/dokument/TRSTR/avgjorelse/tmha-2025-7496?q=midtre%20h%C3%A5logaland%20tingrett%20helikopter.

A decisive minority in the Court of Appeal came to the same conclusion: https://lovdata.no/dokument/LHSTR/avgjorelse/lh-2025-84112?q=helikopterflygning.

NRK has an article describing the flight and landing: https://www.nrk.no/nordland/helikopter-morten-landet-helikopteret-sitt-pa-hustaket-_-frifunnet-1.17398226.

The prosecution has appealed the acquittal to the Supreme Court, which (spring 2026) has asked the EFTA Court for assistance in understanding the EU regulation that forms the basis of the case.
